A lnadslide, located in the Venetina Region on the right side of the Chiampo stream Valley, is investigated from a geological and geotechnical point of view. The translational sliding movement, started in the 70s, is still active: the slope failure surface takes place in a shallow clayey sheet, mainly colluvial and about 10 m thick, which overlays volcanites. The slide i s strongly influenced by water seepage conditions. In situ permeability and piezometric measurements and laboratory shear strength tests were performed in order to carry out a back analysis of the landslide movement.

Abstract
A lnadslide, located in the Venetina Region on the right side of the Chiampo stream Valley, is investigated from a geological and geotechnical point of view. The translational sliding movement, started in the 70s, is still active: the slope failure surface takes place in a shallow clayey sheet, mainly colluvial and about 10 m thick, which overlays volcanites. The slide i s strongly influenced by water seepage conditions. In situ permeability and piezometric measurements and laboratory shear strength tests were performed in order to carry out a back analysis of the landslide movement.File in questo prodotto:
