Excited states of141Sm up to spin I=63/2 have been identified by means of the reaction116Cd(29)Si,4n at 128 MeV bombarding energy. The high spin level structure is discussed in terms of the coupling of a, h11/2 -neutron hole to the N=80 core states. The importance of the pgrh11/2)2 contribution is stressed.
