The drawing on paper, as a tool of knowledge, is inadequate to represent all the complex aspects of the architectural and urban configurations. We are trying to find a new model of knowledge and representation of architecture and city museum. Results and conclusions: If we add the dimensions and the dynamism, we suggest, as a new way to communicate and represent the cultural heritage, a hyper-representation, which includes drawings, surveys, historical cartography and iconography, realistic and synthetic movies of CAD reconstructions – using, as study case, the ecclesiastical-architectural heritage of the historical center in Padova. This organization allows to produce, through the highest level of complexity and speed, not only a huge analysis of the sources, but also the generation of a new model intended as a "medium" between theory and construction.
