Antioxidant activity of sequential extracts obtained from Chaerophyllum hirsutum was tested using the reaction with the stable radical 1,1 diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH). Activity-guided fractionation led to the isolation of 6-methylluteolin, luteolin-7-O-h-d-glucopyranoside, chlorogenic acid, ferulic acid, feruloyl-6-O-h-d-glucopyranoside and maltol-h-d-glucopyranoside.

Abstract

Antioxidant activity of sequential extracts obtained from Chaerophyllum hirsutum was tested using the reaction with the stable radical 1,1 diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH).
