A work in progress, based on two new computerized tasks, the Fun Fair Planning Test and the Maze Test, tries to analyze the planning abilities in school-aged children, from a constructivist point of view. The tests were administered to 10-, 11-, and 12-year-olds. This paper presents some preliminary results, showing an increase in the ability to solve the tasks. Findings show different developmental patterns of ability for the two tasks, which are interpreted in relation to their developmental implications and in relation to the structure of the tasks.

Abstract
A work in progress, based on two new computerized tasks, the Fun Fair Planning Test and the Maze Test, tries to analyze the planning abilities in school-aged children, from a constructivist point of view. The tests were administered to 10-, 11-, and 12-year-olds. This paper presents some preliminary results, showing an increase in the ability to solve the tasks. Findings show different developmental patterns of ability for the two tasks, which are interpreted in relation to their developmental implications and in relation to the structure of the tasks.File in questo prodotto:
