Radionuclear imaging techniques are growing by the development of new useful tools in detecting biodistribution in vivo in small animals. In recent years a new type of gamma-camera was built by using YAP:Ce crystals coupled with PSPMT photomultipliers which offers a spatial resolution of 1.0-1.2 mm. The YAP camera used in this work is characterized by a 40*40 mm2 view field suitable for mice imaging. The adequate development of a software for data recovering and imaging reconstruction allows to investigate by emans of regions of interst (ROIs) the biodistribution of 99mTc-radiopaharmaceuticals in vivo.

Abstract
Radionuclear imaging techniques are growing by the development of new useful tools in detecting biodistribution in vivo in small animals. In recent years a new type of gamma-camera was built by using YAP:Ce crystals coupled with PSPMT photomultipliers which offers a spatial resolution of 1.0-1.2 mm. The YAP camera used in this work is characterized by a 40*40 mm2 view field suitable for mice imaging. The adequate development of a software for data recovering and imaging reconstruction allows to investigate by emans of regions of interst (ROIs) the biodistribution of 99mTc-radiopaharmaceuticals in vivo.File in questo prodotto:
