Abstract
Yrast transitions of the neutron deficient nucleus 93Pd were identified in the αn exit channel of the reaction 40Ca+58Ni at 135 MeV using the gamma ray spectrometer GASP, the ISIS ball, and the n-ring detector system. The relationship of prompt γγ coincidences and the selection of γ rays coincident with evaporated neutrons and α particles revealed for the first time the decay pattern of the high spin structure of the 93Pd nucleus. The spherical shell model calculations restricted to the π,ν(p1∕2,g9∕2) configuration space are in good accordance with the experimentally deduced level scheme of 93Pd.File in questo prodotto:
