This book chapter reviews recent work on artificial oligo(pseudo)peptide structures. Specifically, the complexation properties with biological macromolecules such as DNA, RNA and proteins are discussed in detail. In addition, advancements in the design of oligo(pseudo)peptides able to mimic natural functions (catalysis) are outlined.
