Abstract

A three-dimensional integral procedure based on the Cell Method and suitable for computing ELF eddy currents in thin conducting plates has been developed recently. Its validation against systematic measurement data is here presented. The good agreement between computed and measured field values confirms that this method can be confidently used in designing effective shields for MV/LV substations.
