JIT Manufacturing and JIT linkages with suppliers are considered very useful practices to improve efficiency and on-time delivery performance. Recently, researchers have begun to debate on the relationship between JIT Manufacturing, operational performances and JIT linkages with suppliers. This paper aims to investigate this relationship. A questionnaire-based international survey was used to investigate the research questions. Data from a sample of 200 companies were analyzed using a hierarchical regression procedure. The analyses demonstrate that JIT linkages with suppliers positively moderate the impact of JIT Manufacturing on on-time delivery performance, while this moderating effect is not significant when considering efficiency.
