Abstract
The emergent literacy is a set of abilities, hypotheses and behaviours developed by children before the conventional learning of literacy. The development of such abilities depends mainly on the precocious access to books and other written materials, and on the experiences into the family and socio-cultural contexts. By stimulating the development of emergent literacy competences, mainly in children which seldom interact with the written language, one can contribute to a better development of the literacy processes, and promote an interest and a motivation in learning. The current paper brings important theoretical reflections and practical suggestions in order to promote such competences in a ludic fashionPubblicazioni consigliate
