In this work the efficacy of the treatment of acute tenodesmic lesions using platelet rich plasma (PRP) and autologous mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) was studied in 17 thoroughbred horses. Here we describe and compared with data from literature our results concerning ultrasound controls, the follow up, the recovery time to sport activities and the percentage of clinical success.
