Abstract
The aim of the paper is to analyse the potential of ultra wide band partial discharge measuring systems for diagnostic purposes. While this technique is not often used for acceptance test due to difficulties of establishing a calibration, it can provide useful information concerning type and location of the discharge sites. To exploit the advantages of the technique digital acquisition and numerical processing are necessary; the limited bandwidth of couplers, particularly in case of extended objects, tends to limit the amount of information which can be extracted.File in questo prodotto:
