174 children at very high neuropsychic risk, following Fitzhardinge’s criteria received a follow up till the age of 16 years. Methodology: interviews with parents, videotape of interactive sequences parents-child, Brunet-Lezine developmental scales during the first 2 years and Terman Merril and Wisc R later on were employed starting in the first week in new born intensive care, at regular intervals every 2 ninths, then 6 months and finally every 2 years. At 16 children AAi was employed. Important risk factors for the affective-relational development are: the difficulties of modifying the representation of the child on the parents and the over simulation these children often undergo. Most children have difficulties in organizing or are delayed in the organization of narrative. Often they have very good performance in specific functions but they have difficulties in making synthesis. At the age of 16 a part of them presented delay in sexual affective development and they presented some aspect of false self.
