Abstract
The BEAR (Bending Magnet for Absorption Emission and Reflectivity) apparatus is presented. The main parts of the apparatus including the transport optics and the experimental end stations are essentially described. A number of scientific results are presented dealing with on going activity at BEAR. They include optical properties of materials, studies of buried interfaces, diffuse interface scattering of light and the determination of electronic structure and local geometry of a chemisorbed molecule on a metal surface.File in questo prodotto:
