We discuss the nature of the hydrodynamical solution in the neighbourood of a hadronic front. We point out that if the front moves as a deflagration( as expected) then it is necessary to supplement the standard hydrodynamical equations and junction conditions with an additional expression specifying the rate at which material is transformed from one phase to the other. Using a simple form for this additional expression, we investigate how it constrains the relationship between the temperatures on the two sides of the niterface.

Abstract
We discuss the nature of the hydrodynamical solution in the neighbourood of a hadronic front. We point out that if the front moves as a deflagration( as expected) then it is necessary to supplement the standard hydrodynamical equations and junction conditions with an additional expression specifying the rate at which material is transformed from one phase to the other. Using a simple form for this additional expression, we investigate how it constrains the relationship between the temperatures on the two sides of the niterface.File in questo prodotto:
