Clinicians accomplish an integration between their personal epistemologies and the theories offered by the model they refer to. We submitted to a group of Italian and Spanish familiar therapists, enrolled for the E.F.T.A., a list of questions that could allow us to investigate, compare and discriminate their perspectives on normality and pathology, problem, change, therapeutic process, familiar system and therapist. We also investigated the techniques they used, the theories and models of familiar therapy they identified themselves in. The differences among therapists on these variables were not significant as much as those resulted from the comparison between Italian and Spanish therapists.

Abstract
Clinicians accomplish an integration between their personal epistemologies and the theories offered by the model they refer to. We submitted to a group of Italian and Spanish familiar therapists, enrolled for the E.F.T.A., a list of questions that could allow us to investigate, compare and discriminate their perspectives on normality and pathology, problem, change, therapeutic process, familiar system and therapist. We also investigated the techniques they used, the theories and models of familiar therapy they identified themselves in. The differences among therapists on these variables were not significant as much as those resulted from the comparison between Italian and Spanish therapists.Pubblicazioni consigliate
