The paper describes the statistical fitting of response curves in a mail survey with reminders. The timing of reminders can be decided efficiently by examining the response curve according to response time from mailing. The response curve may be fitted with a logistic curve. Also the number of reminders can be decided efficiently if the response curves are examined.
