Abstract
This communication analyzes the problem of determining an optimum checking schedule over a finite horizon, for an equipment subject to failure, in order to minimize the expected cost due to inspections and failure. We refer to a known formulation of the problem, discussing the correctness of its proposed solution, and exhibiting some misunderstood aspects of it.File in questo prodotto:
