Abstract
A cross-sectional study was performed on 217 ewes from 4 Tuscany flocks, in order to analyze the possible association between seropositivity to an ELISA test to maedi-visna virus antibodies and clinical mastitis. The occurrence of seropositivity (67%) and mastitis (16%) was relevant. No association between seropositivity and clinical mastitis was demonstrated by univariate (chi-square test) and multivariate (logistic regression) statistical methodsFile in questo prodotto:
