Non linear transmission measurements with nanosecond pulses at 532 nm are presented for fulleropyrrolidines, PEG-single-walled-nanotubes and for TMTTF. Besides a reverse saturable absorption (RSA) we find, for fulleropyrrolidines, a non-linear scattering activity related to the formation of triplet excitons, whereas for the soluble nanotubes an RSA activity seems to be present in addition to the nonlinear scattering, characteristic of suspensions of original nanotubes. TMTTF solutions show the importance of multiphoton sequential processes and in particular of a three photon absorption.

Abstract
Non linear transmission measurements with nanosecond pulses at 532 nm are presented for fulleropyrrolidines, PEG-single-walled-nanotubes and for TMTTF. Besides a reverse saturable absorption (RSA) we find, for fulleropyrrolidines, a non-linear scattering activity related to the formation of triplet excitons, whereas for the soluble nanotubes an RSA activity seems to be present in addition to the nonlinear scattering, characteristic of suspensions of original nanotubes. TMTTF solutions show the importance of multiphoton sequential processes and in particular of a three photon absorption.File in questo prodotto:
