The excitation is an impulsive force and the diagnostic signal is the longitudinal vibration acquired by a capacitive sensor. Abstract
An innovative technique, based on the triple application of the Fourier transform processing, is applied to compare the behavior of bars having cracks or cuts. The excitation is an impulsive force and the diagnostic signal is the longitudinal vibration acquired by a capacitive sensor. The resu1ts obtained with this new technique are then compared with traditional ones of the power spectrum and power cepstrum, and agree with those found in previous works. The technique is more sensitive for cracks rather than for cuts.File in questo prodotto:
