A new polymer has been shown to be an effective hydrogenation catalyst: specifically, the polymer that results from copolymerization (through γ- irradiation) of the isocyanide complex 1 with dimethylacrylamide in the presence of N,N′-methylenebisacrylamide. The Pd(II) centers are initially pre-hydrogenated to Pd0, after which the catalyst becomes stable, especially with respect to the loss of metallic centers.

Abstract
A new polymer has been shown to be an effective hydrogenation catalyst: specifically, the polymer that results from copolymerization (through γ- irradiation) of the isocyanide complex 1 with dimethylacrylamide in the presence of N,N′-methylenebisacrylamide. The Pd(II) centers are initially pre-hydrogenated to Pd0, after which the catalyst becomes stable, especially with respect to the loss of metallic centers.File in questo prodotto:
