Abstract
Tradition and hagiographic sources say that Antonio from Lisbon - shipwrecked on the Sicilian coast and recovering from a serious illness contracted in Morocco in the last part of 1220 - reaches Assisi on May 30, 1221 to participate in the General Chapter convened by Francesco. Historical sources tell almost nothing about Antonio between mid-1220 and May 30, 1221, the period on which some chapters of the book focus: the hypothetical rheumatic fever that struck him in Morocco, the plausible journey on foot along the Via Popilia, his probable thoughts; the formidable testimony of Faith, Hope and Charity by Jorge Lozano Leitão concludes the book: in 2021 - the eight hundredth anniversary of Antonio's arrival in Italy - Jorge, the zero pilgrim, retraces Antonio's steps with Antonio, from Capo Milazzo to the Ark of the Saint in Padua.Pubblicazioni consigliate
