The guidebook hosts the results of a research conducted by the authors, as part of an agreement between dBC and the Municipality of Abano Terme aimed at studying and valorising the villa, its historical-artistic heritage and the museum collections. The investigations made it possible to reconstruct the history of the owners, of the building and of its architectural and decorative transformations, with original results in terms of their attribution and dating, and the iconographic interpretation of the subjects represented.
