The first DAFNAE research yearbook presents the abstracts of papers published during this first two-year period (2012-13), obtained from the ISI and Scopus databases. They are grouped into the seven following research areas: Agronomy and soil science Animal science Ecology and environmental science Entomology Food science and technology Genetics and genomics Microbiology Plant science This is therefore a first snapshot of DAFNAE’s research activity, which mainly focuses on the production and dissemination of basic and applied knowledge acquired with the aim to improve the quality of human life, to promote competitiveness in the agri-food sector and the sustainable use of biotic and abiotic natural resources.
