Microperimetry allows precise functional examination of the retina and optic nerve and is included in the current multimodal (or integrated) imaging approach to the retina, primarily for the evaluation of the macular area. Macular disorders are among the major blinding conditions, and diagnosis, follow-up, and treatment are based on functional and morphological retinal evaluation. This fully up-to-date textbook on microperimetry and multimodal retinal imaging, written by leading experts in the field, will also serve as an atlas and diagnostic reference.
