This Trainer's Guide has been elaborated by ICMPD in the framework of the project 'AGIRE. Austria, Greece, Italy and Romania. Acting for stronger private-public partnerships in the field of identification and support of child victims and at risk of trafficking in Europe'. The content has been compiled using information available in other training manuals and tools developed by key anti-trafficking stakeholders. The Guide is elaborated with the goal of training multi-stake holder groups (police, law enforcement, social workers, state agencies, NGOs and international organisations etc.) that, within their professional responsibilities, could come into contact with a trafficked child or a potential trafficked child. It is important to bear in mind that the AGIRE project considers all forms of child trafficking (internal as well as transnational) i.e. trafficking in children for the purpose of sexual exploitation, begging, illegal activities, forced labour, illegal adoption, removal of organs eecc. ecc.
