The 99mTc-UBI28-41-PEG5000-PN2S complex was obtained with a high labelling yield (98%). The stability test demonstrated radiochemical purity higher than 95% after 6 hours of dilution in both saline and phosphate buffer solutions. However, the biodistribution studies in healthy mice showed that 99mTc-UBI28-41-PEG5000-PN2S eas rapidly eliminated by the liver, which limits the application of the compound for the abdominal area.
